Nomination
Comme les autres membres du Cabinet, le Magistrat fédéral est nommé, suite au décès ou au retrait de son prédécesseur, ou bien suite à l’élection présidentielle, par le Président.
Il est ensuite auditionné au Sénat qui doit confirmer sa nomination.
Rôle
Le Département de la Justice de l’Administration gère les questions de Justice et de Magistrature.
